Welcome to Sage House Apothecary! This is my corner of happiness and my personal testimony to the healing power of plants.

I had my son at 25 years old, and as a new mother I wanted to do everything right to keep him healthy. When my son was born, he developed eczema which brought him a lot of discomfort and brought me many sleepless nights. When sharing what was going on with my son's pediatrician, he recommended I put him on a steroid and I simply did not feel comfortable with this solution. I couldn't imagine putting my newborn baby on a steriod, so I decided to figure things out on my own. Being in the early 2000s, before the internet is what it is today, I spent several hours at the library checking out books and researching ways to help heal my little one. I came across Calendula, a beautiful plant offering tremendous healing support to the skin, so I decided to develop products for my son to help. 

In just a matter of a few weeks, I noticed his skin began to clear up. The frequency of expressing his discomfort began to decrease and I could see with my own eyes what I created for him actually worked. 

Fast forward over 20 years and Sage House Apothecary was born in 2021. I have always believed in the healing power of plants, and SHA is a physical manifestation of this belief. As a Reiki Master Teacher, all products are Reiki charged so each customer can benefit from the simple way of bringing healing energy into their lives.
