Hello, I’m Christie R. Edwards, the founder of Sage House Apothecary. This is my sanctuary—a space born out of love, resilience, and a profound belief in the healing power of plants.

My journey began when I became a mother at 25. Like any new mom, I wanted to do everything I could to keep my baby healthy. When my son developed eczema as a newborn, it brought him immense discomfort and left me feeling helpless during many sleepless nights. His pediatrician suggested using steroids, but something about that approach didn’t sit right with me. I knew there had to be a better way.

In the early 2000s, before the convenience of today’s internet, I spent countless hours at the library, diving into books about natural remedies. That’s where I discovered calendula—a beautiful plant renowned for its ability to soothe and heal the skin. Inspired by this knowledge, I began crafting my own products to help my son.

Within weeks, I saw the transformation: his skin started to clear, his discomfort eased, and my heart overflowed with relief and pride. That moment solidified my trust in the healing power of nature and sparked a lifelong passion for creating herbal remedies.

Fast forward to 2021, Sage House Apothecary was born. It’s more than a business—it’s a testimony to the power of nature and the deep healing energy we can access when we work with it.

As a certified Herbalist and Reiki Master Teacher, I craft every product with intention, charging them with Reiki energy to offer you not just physical benefits but a sense of peace and balance. My creations are simple, effective, and made with ingredients you can recognize and trust.
